This is the last picture of Sonja with Owl. There are two ways to look at it:
1) Owl was released back into the wild during a bike ride in Stanley Park in Vancouver. It just wasn't fair to keep a wild animal in an apartment.
2) Owl died. This is why kids shouldn't play with endangered animals.
Either way, Sonja is dealing with the loss amazingly well. She is so strong.

Oh, it's sad to see owl go. This photo also highlights her love for rocks! I see she's going for one, there.
