Hey...who are you looking at?

This sweet little outfit belonged to Kari when she was small.
It will likely fit for another summer.

This week, we had dinner at a friend's house. They had carpet
on their floors and a little kitty for Sonja to enjoy. It won't be
long and she'll be pulling herself up onto furniture and trying to
pull on the kitty's tail.

Today is her 7 month birthday. She's currently sleeping (it's 6:15 am our time) and has been since 8:20 last night. This duration of sleeping has been quite rare. Overall, this has been a great month. She's sleeping better, trying new foods (doesn't like bananas), and "talking" (mamamamamama). Although, she doesn't know what she's talking about yet.

Yesterday, we took our first trip to the zoo where Sonja promptly fell asleep in the the carrier and missed all of the animals. Maybe next time she'll get to see the penguins and gorillas.

Highchair

We started Sonja on real food last week. Today, after a trip to Ikea, Sonja got to eat in a highchair with a baby spoon.

Mt. Si

Sonja went on her first real hike up Mount Si this morning. We got a pretty early start, which she didn't appreciate very much. On the way back down she was able to take a but of a nap. I'd post some pictures of the pretty views, but it was clouded in today.
